Where to Stay: Josefina's Pension House in Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Saturday, September 22, 2012

One of the challenges in traveling is finding a decent and cheapest place to stay but if you're planning on a vacation to Puerto Princesa, Palawan for a day or two, the newly-opened and relatively cheap Josefina's Pension House in Bonifacio Road is highly recommended.

Located just minutes away from the downtown area and from the Puerto Princesa International airport, this pension house is ideal for solo travelers as well as for large groups who want to have a quite and relaxing stay, away from the busy and sometimes noisy downtown streets of Puerto Princesa.

Room Rates and Amenities
The fully air-conditioned and spacious rooms come with a complimentary breakfast, cable TV, hot and cold-shower, large cabinets for your luggage, an "in-room boutique" (for snacks and beverages), and of course, free and fast WiFi.

Room rates depend on the number of guests. For solo travelers, the single room is at Php900 per night. The standard room, which is perfect for couples, is at Php1,200 per night. They also have a family room that can accommodate up to 7 people, priced at Php1,800 per night. Extra beds can also be set up for Php300 each. Towels, of course, are free.

Guests can also avail of their Puerto Princesa tour packages, free airport transfer, and laundry services.

This looks like a better option than La Charica Inn where we spent two nights.
